Welcome to Frisco

A tree-lined city with beautiful architecture

Less than half an hour from Dallas, Frisco is a family-friendly, fun city with plenty to do. The home of many people working in Dallas-Fort Worth, this suburb of Dallas is rapidly growing. Frisco was officially named in 1904 after the town’s St. Louis-San Francisco Railway, but it was around for much longer, since before 1860.

The National Arbor Day Foundation gave Frisco the title “Tree City USA” in 2003. Shortly afterward, and from the same source, it received the Growth Award for three consecutive years, recognizing the higher level of tree care and environmental improvement. The city is beautiful and well-kept.
